Planning to buy a Kolb M3X next year, have not seen one in person. My wife and I are going to Oshkosh this July, departing Northern Nevada (RV) and can head northerly or easterly, and asking if there is a M3X that we could stop and see, either on the way or on the return. Talked with Bryan Milburn and there will be a 95% complete plane there. Thanks Terry

Probably too far off course. Have a nice one in Central Texas. Maybe up for sale in about 6 months. I've been restoring a WWII Piper L-4 Cub and will soon need to move M3X-tra to make hangar space for for L-4.

If ever your in California, Hollister area I'd be happy to show you mine.
Am working on another project now , a Volmer VJ22 amphibian which I'm trying to make LSA.
I love my Kolb but will maybe be looking for a buyer after this project is done early next year as I want to use my toys to my best benefit, which means fly one ALOT. It will depend on which is the better flying machine.. and most fun.

Wellington, 100 mi south of Reno, just east of Hwy 395.
Your comments on the Kolb have been a great help in gaining
understanding about the plane. Your words and the words
of many others on the forum helped shape our decision on the Kolb.

I don't think Bob Green is still on the list, but I got an email from him yesterday; " Know anyone that might want to buy my MKIIIX project?
It comes with the Steve Bennett built 2180 VW with dual ignition, etc." He had me look at it a while back and the construction was excellent.

I visited with Bob sometime back.. Between the wings that you gave me
Richard and the tail feathers that Bob had..I am on my way to a
Firestar....Currently building Firefly.. Too hot to paint the wings
currently...Tail Feathers done, mountain bike brakes done...instruments
installed...fuel system installed... Engine ready to start save the lack
of throttle cables... Rudder and Elevator cables needed.. Herb
