I haven't been flying very much lately for one reason or another. Today the skies were clear, and the winds very respectable. There was a layer of bumpy stuff around 5400 feet, but it smoothed out at 6000. Still had a headwind, but it was as smooth as silk.

I decided to take a couple of my Rat traps to a neighbor who had been having problems with Pack Rats in his quad. His dogs had torn out the wiring twice in frustrating attempts to get to the varmints. It was as good an excuse to fly as I could find.

I leaned out the engine as I climbed to altitude to 1330 EGT. My flight was one hour and 6 minutes, burning 2.5 gph.
