Looking for a little help with the fine details of aileron rigging. I searched the archives and maintenance manuals, but no joy. In order to confirm my aileron system was reconstructed properly, I wanted to ensure I have the correct CJ process. Below is what I believe the correct process is:
1. Level aircraft or use nose offset in the math to calculate aircraft level during calculations (level set off rails)
2. Center stick and lock in place.
3. Place the aileron rocker arms in neutral position and lock in place (is there a locking or alignment whole to verify neutral?)
4. Rig aileron trailing edge to match camber of wing.
5. Adjust limit bolts at bottom of aft stick to achieve max up aileron deflection (book value) (measure along #8 wing rib) and lower deflection is a matter of mechanical design

Does this sound correct? Am I missing something or some tricks that were learned by others?

Thanks in advance
