Ken,
Unfortunately it would appear to be true.
It seems that following an in-flight failure of an Arplast propeller, two disgruntled pilots sued the company.
After much too-ing and fro-ing the appeal court at Limoges found for the plaintiffs and imposed punitive damages against Arplast.

Following this, the owners immediately shut up shop. Their website, telephone and fax numbers are now all discontinued.
A sad end to a good product.
