Have tried various compounds, etc. What works best for me is a rolled on coating of Randolf wing walk. No slip. Easy to re-coat as well. Under the walk, I use a doubler of .063" 2024, holds up to some really big folks I sometimes stuff in the back.
Can anyone top a 16 year old kid in the back who was over 350 lbs? Use a little forward stick after rotation. and do not round out for the flare, just let it settle. I told him not to worry about using the parachute, just sit on it as we could not get it to fit.
