A few weeks ago I treated myself and bought a Garmin Virb action camera.
I posted the first video last night on UTube.

Hope you enjoy it.

Rex R/Gang:

Enjoyed my flight with you, however, 10 minutes at altitude is a long time.
I enjoy take offs and landings, low level flights, and special scenery.

Understand this was your first flight with the Virb. I have no
justification for constructive criticism. You are doing much better than
me. I got a Virb for Christmas last year. Waiting for the right time to
use it for the first time in my MKIII and RZR. My how time flies.

Got home day before yesterday Was on the road 5 months and a day. Need to
get over to the airstrip to see if I still have an airplane in the hanger.
Probably won't make it today. It has been raining since yesterday. I
haven't flown since Sun and Fun last April, except for a flight in Larry
Cottrell's FSII this summer.

I agree John. The next video will be at a lower altitude. I am also looking at making a mount for the camera right below the nose so the view will be completely unobstructed.

Soon as I get time, and get the MKIII back in the air, I'll get the Virb out
and find a place to mount it.

Larry Cottrell is fortunate that he has unlimited areas to fly with
unobstructed views and big mountains, canyons, and dry lakes. Here in
Alabama there are trees and more trees, plus the absence of mountains and
prominent terrain features.

nice video...   if I were to make a suggestion,,,   if you could move the camera mount up to provide more of an outside view.  and less plane,,,   at least for me it would nice...

Enjoyed it! Thanks. That X looks very large inside compared to my MKIII.
