the other day we looked at the weather center and saw 46 deg before lunch.   quickly changed our afternoon plans and was treated to a wonderful flight..  dead calm at the surface,  15 to 20 above the ground, and as smooth as silk.   well there was a little transition layer but above or below,,, silk.   the first is 20 miles north of Brigham shooting north,  the second three miles south of Brigham looking east.

I know where that is.  Me and my little Kolb MKIII have flown both places where those photos were made.

If I can find them, I'll add a couple photos I took a few years ago on June 2011.  There was even more snow then.

Getting antsy.  Is it time to fly back to the Rock House in Oregon?  Wink

My plane is fully enclosed.   I put in a heater 12 years ago,  first flight was 20 at takeoff.   I figured the heater was not working by the time I landed...   By then it was 10 deg.  The heater does not keep up at those temps,...  50 deg temps is shirt sleeve temps.

Best of luck!. Here in the UK we have had severe flooding in the North but temps are high throughout the UK. Primroses and daffodils are out in the gardens, even the lawn could really do with another cut. What I thought was the last cut was 6 weeks ago at least.  Birds and small animals are beginning to chase each other around looking for a mate. Today is blue sky, light Cu  around 1000ft agl. Wind is South less than 10 knots. No White Christmas for us this year.
Merry Christmas to all (if its not against the law to do so without mentioning every other religious persuasion and sect or splinter group in the entire  world)
