Hi all,

Does anybody know the current draw of the flap motor in use? I'm wondering whether it's feasible to directly control them from a stick-top switch.

Thanks

Hi Rick

I have attached a picture I took of the flap motor before it was fitted.

Looks like the max current draw is 4 amp.

Brilliant, thanks for the info.

I'm going to use a couple of automotive electric window switches (rated 16A) for flap and pitch trim control and a suitable momentary button for PTT.

I have a 3D printer, so the rest will be done on solidworks and therefore very easily reproducible if anybody else wants one. I'll post pics of result...

Rick
