Pictures are good to have. See attached.
Agree with Carl's remarks.
I installed the Archer in case I decided to use it. Have never used it.

I am n=mounting a ARCHEr VOR antenna in the right wing of my RV8 under
construction. and I have a couple of questions since I received no
instructions with the antenna.
1. the bottom of my right wing tip (the very old style RV8 tip) is curved
upward. Does it matter if the antenna conforms to that curve ?
2. There seems to b e a reason that people run the light wires for the Nav
and in my case landing lights thru two plastic loops attache to the front
leg of the antenna. Must this always be the case of is there an alternate
way to mount those wires without causing interference ?
3. The antenna is grounded to the skin of the wing and there are two small
screw holes that are used to attach the front leg to the plastic wing tip.
Can it also be attached by glue?
4. Does it matter if the antenna is attached to the top or the bottom of
the wing tip?
any help or suggestions are appreciated
