I have the batteries under the pilot and co-pilot seats. Z-19RB is designed with both the batteries together and hence the connections between the main battery contactor and the engine battery contactor is shown as a brass strap.

Can I replace this with a cable instead?  The length would be approximately 24". If yes, what guage of cable should I be using?
