OK. Today I confirmed that BMW 17112345074 radiator cap works with the 912s.

Well I'm not going to tell you that it's the same part, but I purchased one and it looks and feels identical. And I have to tell you I haven't used it yet. And yes, I'm replacing the cap on an S. I don't know if the 80 uses the same part.

Did I understand correctly from your 8/9/15 email on the Rotax Matronics forum that the BMW Radiator Cap part # 17112345074 will also replace the 1.2 bar cap for a 912 UL? I notice your Kitfox engine was a 912 –S. The engine on my Allegro 2000 is a 912 UL.
