Anyone thought about doing this?
Buy two of these badboys and associated probes... Only $1325...

I realize it's two spots on the panel, but it would be nice to have such an inexpensive solution to get all 9 egt/cht's.. I have plenty of room in my M14 Powered Wilga..

Interesting. Thanks for posting. What my attention was at the very bottom of their page. The 10,000uF capacitor.
I defer to Mark B. On this but will it be useful placed inline close to the Tach Generator?

Aerospace logic makes a sleeker unit that cost unit $1300 for all 9 cylinders (EGT or CHT) I used them in the past on other aircraft, not quite sure of the companies robustness lately but nice unit.

Did the MGL upgrade years ago. It is a great instrument. doing all 9 CHT's is a waste. Doing 9 EGTs is a great trouble shooting tool. I'd use the remaining 3 channels, 1 each front and back on cyl number 4 and the third on the coolest running Cyl, maybe 7 or 8 (from my memory). Find a good cannon plug and MIL SPEC crimping tool to run the wiring through the firewall. I'd also pull my exhaust and have SS bungs welded on instead of using clamps.
should be way less than 1325 for the gauge 9 EGT and 3 CHT
