Looking at flying almost coast to coast and want more fuel preferably external. Have hung Chinook football tanks on a V strut Rans a few times but has anyone done it on the single strut Kolb?
What about more baggage?
Thanks for any input.

On a trip with Arty, I put two 5 gal tanks in the rear seat with a elect pump, plumbed into the front tank on my firestar. It gave me 20 gallons available gas, and I still had room for camping equip. As long as the weight is under the CG and you do not exceed your max gross, you should be all right.Larry

I retrofitted my two 5 gallon fuel tanks installed on my MK 3 with two 10
gallon fuel tanks purchases from Air-Tech Inc.
Increased fuel capacity from 10 to 20 gallons negligible affect on c.g. double
the range.
