Thanks, but,
the bulb that I want to replace has two filaments, one for landing and one for taxi and I doubt I can get an equivalent Led version??

I'll take dimensions and post a picture, maybe the same as for the CJ6?

Thanks

Or you can buy one of the standard LED bulbs and with the aid of some RTV fix it in the existing reflector and be done with the problem ( better lighting as well).

Remove the bulb and take a photo of it and measure the diameter of the electrical connection. Then email the information to Doug Sapp our CJ6 parts guru. dougsappllc(at)gmail.com<mailto:dougsappllc(at)gmail.com> It may be the same as the CJ's landing/taxi light bulb.

Subject: Taxi/Landing light for Yak 18T

Hi
I'm looking for the light bulb for the Taxi/Landing light on my 18T, located on the left wing.
Does anyone have one or know where I can get one?

Thanks

Thanks Mark & Walt & Michael Ali-Paz
Both these bulbs cost approximately the same as an original Russian bulb, yes, very expensive for a light bulb!
However, looks like these are single mode bulbs, you can order as landing or as taxi light, but not a combined one with two modes.

I will first try to pursue the other suggestion on this list, go to a tractor supply shop and see if they have an equivalent 2 filament lamp. I assume this needs to be a tractor shop in the US, I'm in France and don't know if they have tractor shops here??
If I find it, I'll let you know.

Thanks

Hi Michael,
I also live in France and fly a Yak 52. For sure,  there are shops/dealers for tractors in our beautiful country.
By the way, few days ago, I saw a Yak 18 at Bruno Ducreux's workshop in Darois. Was it yours?
Best regards,
