All,
I have posted the Red Alert articles I have published on my web site, see: http://www.payneaviation.com/technical
I know the -TW has a foot lever for the start valve but if the start lever on the valve can be manually reached, a helper can depress the lever fully while the pilot pushes the start button. STAY CLEAR of that windmill thingy in front. It is possible that that foot lever linkage does not fully engage. Ideally, a loud "Pop" will be heard and the prop spins immediately.
I do have a CAD design for a start valve improvement but routine maintenance is a lot cheaper.
