I'm sure this was discussed before but I can't find the posting.
Could someone advise what the material spec is for the aluminium used on the instrument module sub panels (and also the flap brackets)?

Hi Phil,
I'm not sure about the flap brackets, but I don't think there is any required spec for the panels. It just needs to be thick enough to be reasonably strong once you've cut out all the holes for the instruments. I used 2 mm thick for my panels. As you can see from the attached photo, I had to cut out some big holes. Once the instruments are installed they also add to the overall strength.
Andy Draper may be the man to speak to about the flap brackets, or Karen at Europa.
