OK,

We are installing smoke on the Yak 52. Where does everyone have their ON/OFF switch located?

Recommendations?

I use the approach commuter switch located on the glareshield panel Smile but the best solution is to insert a new switch on the upper side of throttle Twisted Evil

Hello- for arming the 24 v pump I used an un-used switch on the main switch panel. Have a radio shack push once for on, push again for off rigged into the old ICS portion of the throttle for a little "HOTAS". Included a relay mounted behind seat to cushion it all electrically and have a green light under the glare shield when activated to give me a visual cue. I like the set up but lots of ways to skin a cat. Thanks to electrical wizard Chris Dilley for his design. See pics below.
