Good question for verification Dan,

The SL-70 manual specifies it as an acceptable rate.
It is selected in the configuration of the SL-70.
The primary receiving device (MX-20) can only use 1200 Baud - and it is receiving data properly and is displaying it without error messages.

Verified - and I have tried other rates without success...with and without reconfiguration!
