Like Justin, I had the same issue...the check valve between the supply air and the emergency bottle was the problem.
If that's the problem, then your other check valves are probably also corroded.
Our Dear Leader, Doug Sapp can magically make this all better. Without him. I would never be flying!
BTW, another of our CJ/Yak mensches, Craig Payne, has a book due out soon on the trials and tribulations of CJ/ Yak pneumatic systems.
This is not one of those "Heard on the Street" rumors. Craig shared this with me at OSH. Sadly he didn't ask me for help on crafting the title on this manual.
In the airplane world, this could have gone in many directions..with my help probably not the right one.
Best of luck...remember the spitter and ALWAYS blow down after each flight.
