STall STrips

I would be very careful with the first flight - maybe tape the stall strips near (about 18" out from the side of the plane). I had a very experienced Europa pilot fly mine first (Bud Yerly) who really knows the plane. He flew it with no stall strips and after he checked it out, I flew it with him. Without the stall strips my plane had a very violent stall behavior (it inverted). We then put the strips on with just tape and tried different placements. Once we got them in the best place we glued and glassed them in place. The plane stalls like a pussy cat now (a mild rumble and then a mushiness and then a mild break).

Be sure when you finish off the plane for painting that you don't fill in around the stall strips to make it rounded - it is the sharp edges that makes it work, or so I am told.

I am down to almost the last wire from my old fuselage to connect to the
new bit and new panel and have run up against a problem with my Airworld
Skyflash single head strobe. The wire coming from the driver unit is a
fairly heavy gauge 3 core unshielded one with red, black and green
wires. My problem is what to do with the green wire. The installation
guide I have kept since 2000 doesn't mention it. Airworld went out of
business a while ago. Internet search for a wiring diagram has drawn a
blank, only turning up the same installation guide I already have, which
is good on actual hardware fixing but no hint about the green wire. The
driver is up in the tail cone where I really do not want to go! Can
anyone help please?

PS. It may be of course that I just used three core wire because I had
it but there were only two cores connected!

I have attached a copy of the Skyworld Installation instructions. These include
the plug wiring. This may be what you are after.
