Has anyone got a set of Jacks for sale, preferably in europe, but I will ship from anywhere for the right set. Failing that any drawings or help with dimensions would be super helpful. i.e. diameter of the ACME screw, Height of the jack (extended & retracted) and distance between the feet.
Also can anyone tell me if the Yak18T jacks need an offset like the CJ-6 jacks?
Many thanks Pat

Hello Pat,
sorry, no jacks for sale, but maybe a photo will give you an idea. No need for offset design, just some tripods with feet not too wide apart. You just orientate the feet to clear the wheels for retractions. I made the tripods a bit collapsible as the lower joints are movable like some typical car jacks, so the feet fold onto the central tube for storage. I got all material from Ebay, like the trapezoidal thread with bronce nut and the steel profiles and did the arc welding at home. On top of the screw there are big steel balls in their cup that fit into the ball recess on the plane. For lifting you have to wrench the thread by turning at the bit of hex material that holds the ball cup. I got me one meter of thread for three jacks. It is an easy job to do but takes a few hours of course - and I use the jacks for all winter hangarage, so no flats on tires in months of parking.
For sizes: You get the height from your Yak on its wheels from floor to the ball cups and stay a few inches short to be sure you get the jacks plus balls under it with screws down to lower stops. More photos per PM but no sizes for next days.

Have you tried getting parts from companies which offer metal machining services, like this one for example? The said company has lift systems as one of their specialties, but most of these are for automation or motion control; however, they also offer metal machining services which, I think, you can leverage to get a jack made for you according to your needed measurement for your said purpose.
