The past two flights my tach has run backward after start. Each time I shut the engine down and restarted it which seemed to get the tach running normally.
Today it did the same thing except during flight it went to zero and no longer responds to the engine.
I have researched it in the Matronics archives and suspect that one or more of the pin connectors is not making contact.
The cannon plug seems to be fine. Is there a way to check continuity or check that the tach hasn't just failed?
