Anyone have an exhaust spanner tool available?



Prefer something that won't break.

We are doing a small run of 50 of the pin wrenches now.  Stronger pin (actually a roller bearing), pin is replaceable. it is a all round better tool than we have been able to offer in the past.Will have them in stock in about 30 days.

Good Exhaust Spanners are hard to come by. Since you say, one that won't break, here are three suggestions. 1. I use to break and need the pin all the time. What I discovered is the radius of the wrench is not always a perfect fit on our gland nuts. I noticed that there were high points on the radius thus getting a rocking effect and only putting pressure on the high point. Probably not good for the gland nut. When you a wrench look at that. I ground the radius to get a 100 percent surface to surface contact. Problem solved!

2. Go on eBay. There is a guy that sells an excellent heavy duty, big faced longer radius wrench that is absolutely.  OUTSTANDING! He also has other CJ and YAK stuff. Super to work with.

3. I had several gland wrenches over the years with broken pins. I took them and had them modified where I can replace the pins if necessary. Of course, this was before I learned to grind out the radius for the perfect fit and then I discovered the guy on eBay. Contact me off list and I'll send you his contact info when I get home.

Looks just like the original Russian pin spanner (with the exception of the valve cover tool on the end and the bottle opener; both VERY useful).   Worth every penny!
