Is there anyone out there who has installed a Trutrack autopilot in a Yak 50 or 52 and has an FAA approval?   It would help a lot as we navigate through the Transport Canada approval process.We are installing one in the YAK 50 to make some long cross countries next summer much easier.

Hmmmm there basically is no FAA approval for experimental aircraft modifications.

I wish that were the case in Canada.

GordNot in a Yak but I’ve had one in my Nanchang for 15 years. Works like a champ.
