Wasn't aware of Gerry's death. He and I go back to 1985. Homer Kolb wouldn't sell me a 447 for my original Firestar Kit because he thought it was too much horse power. Sent the 377. I horse traded the 377 with Gerry for the 447. Saw him every year at Lakeland, sometimes at Oshkosh. He was a good man. I also noticed his older brother died two days prior to Gerry's death. Tough times. Rest in peace my friend.

Gerry Olenik passed away earlier this month, I believe it was cancer. His two sons are running the business. He was patient and helpful with all my newbie questions. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him personally.
