We have an RV7A (tip-up) and are going to completely redo our inst panel and do away with all the steam gauges and go with a Dynon Skyview Classic. We have two major issues. We have an Affordable 3 piece panel and planned on ordering a left and right side blank but Affordable Panel cannot be found. I have emailed Mr Lefler and he has not responded. Did AP go out of business? The second issue is the instrument panel support. Our plan is to install a 10" Dynon Skyview Classic right smack in the middle of the left side panel and the panel support is in the way. Anyone that has installed a 10" Skyview in a 6 / 7 tip-up, what did y'all do about the support? Photos would be great if you have them. I have tried the internet but only find pretty pictures of the front of the panel. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Many people have done the panel support rib. You just cut it off at the
sub-panel and move it over, and reattach it to the sub-panel. Use a piece
of angle cut to the right length, and rivet it to the rib and then
sub-panel. I don't have a picture handy, but it's pretty easy.
I hope this helps. I don't know anything about AP. Good luck!

Reuven, AP went belly up about three years ago. I needed a new mulit piece panel to replace the original from AP. Stein cut a three piece replacement for me that fits perfectly. Not cheap, but worth every dollar.
