Cable Tension for CJ

After owning my CJ for several years, I have finally noticed that the cables on the rudder pedals in the front and a bit it the rear cockpits seem loosey-goosey (love those technical terms) compared to three other CJs in my area. Can't find anything in any of the books I have regarding the proper tension and procedure (if there is one). I have access to a cable tension device but as Walt Lannon has pointed out the structure of the aircraft and I'm sure the temperature at the time of adjustment,  may play into the settings. Since I live just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, I would tune them  to the "E" string on a banjo but some how I think that might be incorrect!

For the front ones , just enough tension so they don’t rub on the floor ! If you have standard rear cables 72 might be correct but if they have ever been replaced- like mine - they are slightly larger than original- it might be a little different so check. They should just be tight  enough not to slap any part of the fuselage when you move them back n forth quickly.  That’s the unscientific  method but pretty accurate I think as a first order approximation!
