Well the Custom Flight Creations Sun ‘n Fun was a better homecoming than I thought initially. We had more Europa owners and visitors than I thought considering there was a vicious front well to the North. Weather was good except for Tuesday in the morning. A quick recovery and we were off and running getting plenty of sun.
Many owners and visitors stopped in, and we had some great contacts, and great weather. Sorry I didn’t get any photos but I have a mental condition preventing me from remembering to do photo’s. But I did get a great farmers tan (lower arm and legs and face, and the rest burnt).
I see that after a week there was not a post one to the Europa List and I was concerned that we had been removed.

Hey Bud, Glad Sun & Fun went well, I’m still in paradise, still snow in Mn so planning my return for early May, how’s the annual & fix it project coming, I’ll keep u posted when I plan to return to Florida. Thanks, Brian.

Bud…by any chance, did the folks from Bruce’s Aircraft Covers come by your booth? After ordering a cover for my Europa, I had asked if they had any of their aluminum coated reflector heat shields which would fit the Europa…they said no…that they lacked a pattern. I alerted them that you would be at Sun N Fun and gave them your booth #, hoping they would stop by and make patterns for those shields.

Fred,
Years ago (2005?) we made a pattern and Kennon made our sunshields. They have worked well.
We just looked at their website and Europa isn't listed, but you could contact them and reference us. They were a little confused and provided the two door shields and two front window shields but one covers the window fine.
Let us know, we probably have the invoice somewhere.

As a new Europa owner I want to thank you again for taking the time to chat with me at Sun-N-Fun. I learned a lot from our conversation as well as the opportunity to climb over your Europa.
