Hi,
I’m looking to modify the outrigger pivot bearings on my Mono Europa.
The only practicable UK source of the required (0.375” OD x 0.3125” ID) stainless steel tube sells it in 6 foot (1.8m) lengths, for about GBP 80.
Does anyone know of a UK supplier of shorter lengths of SS tube, or have a few inches of said tubing that I could buy.?

Hi Dave. I found a local machine place, took the bolt with me and paperwork giving details and spec’s and they milled me a couple up for about £20

Hi Dave,
I had the same issue as you last year, about May time. I've looked who I ended up buying it from but I can't find the invoice or anything in my email nor browser history, which is strange.
But if memory serves they were in southern England somewhere.
Anyway I had about 1m sent. I may have some left. Let me check in the morning and I'll let you know. You could have a length of that; but I'm in Germany, so shipping might not be the cheapest. I'll look into that also.

You could try looking at metal recycle facilities or fab shops doing instrumentation. They toss the small lengths of 316 SS tubing left over in the bin normally.

I promised you a reply, and sorry it's taken so long. Family life has been a bit time consuming, I have imminent twins due (well not me, but my wife to be precise  ) and the preparations have left little "aviation time".
I checked through my notes and I had found and used these guys as my source: Southern Temperature Sensors Ltd. via their ebay page for, presumably scrap sell off. Link below.

You're welcome to some of mine, I have about 700mm in stock, however looking at the prices on the ebay page, it would be cheaper than the postage for you to get it directly, and I can't commit to when I can get to the hangar next.
