Bob Hartunian and I made it home safe after a hard 20 mile drive. It was a great reunion, so many fantastic friends. We sure missed the few that could not make it, but I think everyone enjoyed the event. Sunday afternoon, we were able to get Bob's Pulsar repaired with the voltage regulator Chuck and Laverne brought with them, so Bob will be leaving late this week, after visiting with friends in Missouri.
We had a special event Saturday evening. Lisa Turner, a Pulsar builder, has just published a book about her life ventures and sent us four books for the group. Ron Kovol, Jim Fillman, and Bob Hartunian took home a signed copy. The fourth was raffled off to Bill Squire. I want to encourage everyone to go to the Amazon.com and purchase the book, it is available in Kindle, paper back, and hard copy. Lisa is donating the proceeds to a youth aviator program she is active in. The title is Dream Take Flight. It is inspirational and has a five star rating. It is easy to find, she and her Pulsar are on the cover.
