Does anyone know what triggers the LANDING GEAR (red) warning annunciator on the annunciator panel? This is in a 52W. I believe it’s supposed to act like what a warning horn would do in a bonanza, etc. I just can’t figure out what triggers it. There doesn’t seem to be a micro switch on the throttle. Is it tied into the stall tab? I’m trying to wire the annunciator into my G3X touch but I need to know how it works to test it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Greg

When u r flying and pull throttle to idle is there a warning? If u leave the gear up and lower full flaps, is there a warning? Those r the only options. Either way a micro switch. Not sophisticated enough for altitude warnings.

There must a micro switch somewhere. I put a gear warming on my CJ6 (which has none) by put a micro switch on the rear cockpit throttle. I set and marked the position of the throttle at power setting I normally use for approaches. I then mounted a micro switch on the copper casing so that it closed a circuit getting its power from the "UP" lights in the rear cockpit. This lit up a red light on the front panel. You could put a flasher switch in the circuit so as to make the light flash as an attention get-er. Also a horn could be added. Jim "Pappy" Goolsby
