For the past few months I have kept busy by doing fun projects. The latest finished project was to replace the original engine baffling system with a new engine plenum. I actually finished this project 5 months ago.
Now after just over 40hrs of flying with it installed I took everything apart to inspect the installation. It looks great and shows no problems of any kind so I am confident of flying with it.

Looks great and I am sure it works well. Did you notice any change in the sound or vibration?

Mike; A friend of mine (A&P/IA) suggested using the tape and it works great.
Mark; I have not noticed anything different with the plenum installation.

Hi Galin
I was always a bit nervous about adequate engine cooling with our original plenum design. It was probably a lot more trouble building but I was always envious about the design that the guy from Minnesota came up with that would seal every thing off inside the plenum so that it could channel all the cooling air over the cylinders.
Decided not to do anything about it because I didn't fly in really hot areas. Glad you were able do something about it.
