I thought I might throw a small pebble into the seemingly now-tranquil waters of magneto discussion!

 

What is not always known is that while all M9F magnetos have exactly the same timing, there are actually six

different models of the M9-35M, and all with slightly different timing. These variants are identified by a number

which is stamped onto the outside of the magneto case, and the timing for the different variants is given in the

table below.
