I've never seen a mechanical gyro hold up to prolonged or repeated aerobatics and be 100% accurate when finished.
Solid state accelerometer based systems, or laser ring INS systems yes. Bug Ole free spinning gyros not so much.
But possibly the Chinese have a better model. Admittedly I have never flown a CJ. But if it has a 4 gimbal gyro, maybe so.

this AGI-1 thing is not an average gyro. it was built for MiG-15 , that's why it is called "Avia Horizon for Fighter". but obviously like everything else has its age and design limits

The Chinese gyro is virtually identical to the Russian gyro used in the 50 and 52. Dennis
