Kolbers does anyone have a firefly and the time to give me a measurement I need to know what a firefly measures between the inside wing ribs you see my knew shop or at least my shop doesn’t allow me to mount the wings inside the shop and it’s about a days work to take it outside and I’m designing a rack to mount my soft pack parachute on after I put it together would one of you give me the inside measurements side to side and fore and aft where the chute will mount thank you Chris

It's been some years since the following was said by genuine FAA reps at
a Safety Seminar. Apologies to those on here who have heard it before.
And he says:
If your plane LOOKS like a Eipper, but it's made out of lead pipe (and
still flies?).. we don't care.
If your fuel tank numbers go to 10.. the 'correct answer' is, "It's
calibrated in liters".
.. and we're CERTAINLY not going to get into your ultra-light and fly
it at WOT to know how fast it will go!!
But.. if it has two seats.. YOU ARE FLYING AN ILLEGAL AIRCRAFT.. without
registration, without a pilots license, w/o a current annual inspection,
without bi-annual flight reviews, (etc, etc).
They had just had 3 "ultra-light" crashes, with 5 fatalities, and one
survivor. So, even 15 lbs over may not matter? Keeping out of
regulated air-space? A buddy of mine, noticed a bunch of police traffic
while he was flying his.. like LOTS of them, sirens and lights on. And
then he realized, they were following him. He had flown well within the
5 mile radius once too often, and a National Guard chopper reported him.
Luckily no fines (as I recall).. but he did learn his lesson.
