Does anyone have a trick or tactic to fueling the in tandem 5 gal tanks, behind the rear seat? Its a tight squeeze with a gas can......

This is what I use for the firefly. Will transfer 5 gal. in about 2 minutes.
Works best if you can get the can close to the same level as the tank.

John W used to have a fueling tube made from maybe 1.5" PVC for his Kolbra. One end had a 90 degree elbow pointing up and one on the other end down. He would take the cap off the rear tank and put the down elbow into the tank and pour fuel into the elbow pointing up. The down elbow may have had a 2-3" extension and the up elbow a larger diameter pipe adapter. It seemed to work well.

harber fright has a battery powered gas pump for about $10.00. works fine for me.

Thanks fellas! I’m looking at the battery powered fuel pumps now.

Yes, I bought a handheld fuel pump powered by two AA batteries. They’re for sale on Amazon for approximately $16. The base goes into the gas can and a 2 foot hose goes into the plastic tank top.

This one has a 10' long hose, reaches the wing on the MKIII. Pumps about 2 gallons/minute.
