I want to start my 377 bolted to an old cable drum with no prop
I was thinking of bolting on a flywheel of some sort how about a brake drum or something else round so I won’t hurt myself what would be your suggestions thank you Chris

I would just start it with no flywheel...It would be better that way than with an out of balance height bolt to the crank. Just do not go to WIde open or make fast throttle moves for fear of overrev or spinning a bearing. Dont do anything crazy and you should be fine. Chic

Just remember that even a slight bit of throttle will peg the tach.
