               A federal policy went into effect November 2020 allowing honorably discharged veterans free access to all National Parks, Monuments and Rec Areas at any time. Just show your DD 214 copy initially to gain your card. They also accept the newer veteran photo ID card or your state's driver's license that says veteran on it.
