Cj6.com Parts and the business.
Economic Update
Due to the current economic conditions and the ever changing/straining relationship between the US and Chinese Governments, the uncertainty with the US economy and the mess at the top of our Political Leadership have all made an impact on the overall parts sales at =AT2VNC3qo3E0qfWSF6TuxtK4LDysA1hqkH2oiE6kT_XiFFMbRcdwWYTVLKvNKm3gZZkckp9zmjp3Piy_S3wNnoesa2i1eGZFaTbThlQyifsvxkcsg7SsUW6m31BL71B3vFFNCUXLvOUOTld0Rf7occ3FUAL5tp0_QJUcurLz2HA_ByQAb3V0ArgVINY]Cj6.com. Even though I have spent more than $200,000.00 in new parts imports of which I have yet to see over and above what I paid for the business I will be stocked well and have been able to get small parts from China for now.
We have struggled to stay in the black and the last two months have really put a strain on the business.
This isn’t an announcement that I am closing the doors or anything like that, this is to let everyone know that I can’t have a full-time salaried employee waiting to fill orders when someone calls which is becoming fewer and fewer. When I purchased Doug Sapp, LLC, I did my due diligence to review the financial information for the previous three years, based on that information, I used it to project the costs to move the business forward. But the way things worked out here in the US and abroad, the rising material costs, extreme shipping costs and the US/China breakdown and the super inflation in both Countries of which appears to be getting worse. The parts business for the Nanchang is more for the hobbyist and not a mission critical industry like Flight for Life, Fire Fighting Operations, or something like that. We depend on discretionary income and it’s that income that dries up first. We have seen a drop in parts sales over 50% over the last couple of months, which is to be expected in times like these. So it’s no surprise that things are the way they are and we have to adapt to our current situation. This means that we won’t be able to ship parts out the same day and orders will have to be filled in the evenings or a couple times a week.
I have a huge investment with the purchase of Doug Sapp, LLC and I am secure in the fact that =AT2VNC3qo3E0qfWSF6TuxtK4LDysA1hqkH2oiE6kT_XiFFMbRcdwWYTVLKvNKm3gZZkckp9zmjp3Piy_S3wNnoesa2i1eGZFaTbThlQyifsvxkcsg7SsUW6m31BL71B3vFFNCUXLvOUOTld0Rf7occ3FUAL5tp0_QJUcurLz2HA_ByQAb3V0ArgVINY]Cj6.com won’t fail since I didn’t purchase it to be a big money maker. I just wanted to make sure that I have parts for my Cj6 and I do. So I am just going to pull the reigns back and make sure that I control the costs to keep things moving. I won’t be able to provide the level of support/service like Doug has in the past, I own and operate a full-time business for the last 21 years and that’s what I must focus on since it’s the one that really pays the bills and is not so economic driven.
I hope you all understand and will be patient with me while I adjust the business.
