I am coming towards the end of my tank build...the left outlet was too close to the torque tube and had to be redone.    And the spacers which stop the tank bulging had to have their top angle removed (didnt fit) and nut plates put on.   i still have to fit the filler tube .   And then sand to ensure no flakes could block the outlets.   And then put the top on.   And adjust the hole for the filler tube in yhe rear bulkhead....   No matter.   I can feel I'm getting close.

The next step is engine testing before final closing.
Wrt closing, to those that have done this before how does one go about the inside reinforcements?   (outside seems straightfoward) Any wisdom to share
thanks

Fwiw
On my hummelbird tank, i didn't bother with internal seam layups, just ensured good seam epoxy coverage and a couple external layups. No issues to date. My mating seam mated well, using a simple single layer packing tape release

I was more worried about internally not being able to peelply (if i could even figure out the layups through the filler) and ensure there were no marginal edges why may have ended up as loose bits down the road. Smile
Cheers,

ah yes well there is that too which has me a little concerned...i have been wire brushing and sanding the inside to try to ensure that there are no loose bits.
furthermore this was one of the reasons for keeping the finger filters as opposed to using straight through bulkhead fittings for the outlets
Actually wrt the inside layups  i was refering to the inside of the cockpit module ....
