What is this?
Attached is a .JPG pic of a gizmo that I don't recognize.
Can someone enlighten me?

| The white item at top looks like the 'guts' of a female BNC connector, like the one shown in the middle of the pic. spin it 180 degrees, and the 'short end' will look like the part sticking out past the threads of the BNC-F, and if you look into the end of the BNC-F, you'll see the 'long end' of the part in question.

It looks like the center piece is a chassis mount connector which has a solder connection to go to conventional wiring inside the chassis and adapting to BNC outside the chassis.
