Hi everyone,
I have recently purchased an Osprey GP4. I noticed that the top of the wing skin was cracking and it turns out that the gear down and locked micro switch is pressing on the underneath of the skin when the gear is retracted. It's not by much, probably only a couple of millimeters.
The switch is Omron Z-15DG-BY-K and it's 17.5mm thick with a hole spacing of 25.4mm.
I've searched through the Omron catalogue and I can't find anything thinner and I'm looking for a recommendation. I know that there are several ways of attacking this problem but I want to keep it simple..... Simple is good 🙂
Thanks, Paul

Possibly a 'best' solution. What area of the switch is
contacting the skin?
