Recently ordered new tires for my Yak52. Desser is not a cheap source for the 500/150 and 400/150 tires used on a Yak/CJ. Is there a western equivalent that fits our planes that doesn’t cost 3X what a Bonanza or Cessna tire costs?

Unfortunately, Desser is the only source that I’m aware of where you can buy 500x150 and 400x150 tires and tubes. 

Don’t forget to ask them for retreaded tires. If they have them, they are much less expensive and last 3 times as long.

I got together with a bunch of other Yak owners and ordered a pallet load of tires from China. Worked out pretty well.
