Prices will vary dramatically depending on make (Strong holds its value fairly well) and whether it’s passed inspection lately. Call around to local sky diving operations that do parachute inspections. Sometimes they will have a seat pack chute lying around that they will sell for a song. I have three parachutes that I bought for between $200 and $600 a couple years ago. I would anticipate paying more than that now.
