I can't believe I haven't seen others having a problem similar to mine. Parker-Cleveland part 075-00800 Torque Plate is cold rolled steel that deforms over a period of time because it is not hardened or is just too weak for the application. I replaced a badly bent one some years back and they are getting pricey new $600, and used $200. I straightened mine this time and had doublers TIG welded on to triple their rigidity in the weak region. Original left, modified right.
