If your aircraft registration information with the FAA is not up to date, you might want to update it before Feb 1 based on this notice filed in the Federal Register recently.
Aircraft owners and operators must ensure their aircraft registration information and security waivers are properly completed and up to date by Feb. 1, 2006, or they "may be denied access" to the National Airspace System, the FAA said in a notice published in the Federal Register on Friday.
If you want to check - go to this webpage and type in your N number. This data base contains the N numbers of those folks needing to update their registration information (mainly address). If your number is in it - it will respond with what you need to do to correct it. If your number is not in it you will get a " can't find" response.

Ron,
My understanding is that if your N number is NOT found in this "bad boy"
data base, then you are OK. So based on that I would say you are OK with
N259JB. If you number was found then the incorrect address is probably the
thing that needed to be corrected.

Ron,
On that same screen, click on Aircraft Inquires, N-number at the upper
left. You will see the same screen, however right above where you input
your N number, it will say FAA Registry N number inquiry. Input you N
number, this will give you all the info that the FAA has on your aircraft.
If it is all correct, your okay, if not you need to correct the info.
