How hard is it to fully inclose a partially inclosed Firestar? If it has the tall windshield that comes up over head but stops before reaching the leading edge of the wing would it be difficult to finish the glass and add the fabric. I have built a clipped wing Challenger before so I do know how to do fabric work. {GULP}

My personal preference is to stick with the partial enclosure. I have the old style tall windshield and built some half doors that come back far enough to stop the wind, but not enough to prevent a clear view and good pictures. I fly 12 months out of the year here in Oregon. You should be fine unless you want to fly in weather colder than about 15 degrees F. Even then it's not bad for an hour or so.

I've had my Firestar since last July with a full enclosure. Right now I'm glad I have it. When it gets warmer out I'm going to put a shorter version for better visability and picture taking. In 30 deg. F. weather it is still cold after 2 hours even though I get teased about sitting in a "green house"
