While trying to install some brake lines this morning I noticed that I had a scratch on the brake line in the tunnel that I had installed some time ago.  Its about 1/4 inch from the end of the tube and it might possibly be from the flaring tool.  Does anyone know or have experience as to the criticality of this?  Does the line need to be replaced?

Brake pipes – or bundy tube, is highly resistant to corrosion, and there shouldn’t be a problem. If the scratch is deep, and you feel uncertain, rather replace, as pressures in the braking system (open to correction) can exceed 120 bar.
