Just curious if anyone wired or was planning on wiring your plane like several Beechcrafts are wired with the switch that Grounds out when activated as the leads to all the guages/instruments/avionics are wired HOT 24/7?  This way if a wire ever cracks and SHORTS or grounds to the plane the grounded unit just turns ON.    The long runs to the wingtips could be wired on a normal E-bus if you did not want the long wire runs to be HOT all the time. 

I am sure Bob Nuckoll has a thought on this but I am not aware of his position.
