"Child Car seats"?
I was pretty sure that the purpose of this e-mail list was for the
discussion of Kitfox aircraft.
I'm sure that we all have 'interests' other than Kitfox aircraft which we'd
like to IMPOSE (I note the subject e-mail does not even use the 'do not
archive' courtesy note) upon the other listers, but this list has enough
drivel w/o going to "child car seats" which have no direct tie to Kitfox
aircraft.
Let's see, if I were to continue the 'safety theme', I could talk about
vaccinations, bicycle helmets, not running around the swimming pool, not
running with sharp objects, safety glasses, oh, maybe "earplugs", not
playing in the street (oops, there's that 'car' theme again), etc., but I'm
sure that discussion would just lead to 'school shootings' or teen drug use,
when this list is for the discussion of Kitfox aircraft (did I mention that
previously?).

Brian sorry that you feel that way.

I thought it was very touching and could help others save a child's life.
I add plenty about Kitfox talk so I appolize that this is off topic.

Well it got your attention and that was the point of it .

It worked

Thanks

Dave

Dave, Don't apologise, I am a school bus driver and see quite a few auto
accidents. The only ones I have seen where kids were injured, they weren't
properly secured in the vehicles. Our large busses do not have seat belts
but the smaller ones have seat belts and shoulder harnesses.
It doesn't hurt at all to be a little off topic if it could possibly save
a child from permanent injury.

I thought this was OK and not really off topic. About a year ago I attended a safety seminar put on by the Michigan Department of Aeronautics that was focused around traveling with children. Child seats were very much a part of this seminar complete with examples of child seat installations in a Cessna 172 and 206. Why would this not apply to a Kitfox as well?
